Meet Your Wedding Planners
We take pride in making every wedding and event affordable and intimate by focusing on a limited number of weddings each month. That way you get the one-on-one attention you deserve and you can host a celebration to remember. From the first consultation to the final send-off, we are ready to organize an event filled with personality and charm for you. To reserve your date, a retainer of 50% of the price is requested along with a signed contract provided by us. MOST of the services provided are listed below (but not all). We like to try to customize some of the duties based on each events “needs”.
Heather Arnold
Owner/Lead Planner
I am Heather and the owner/lead coordinator. I started this venture after leaving a career in Healthcare Accounting & Operations, to be able to spend more quality time with my husband, son, and infant daughter; along with following my passion. While working in Healthcare, I assisted at The Plantation House from 2010, which is where I grew to LOVE weddings and helping couple enjoy their day to the fullest. I take pride in providing quality wedding/event coordinating and making sure everyone can have a stress free event. Plus I love making new friends and try to be a friend to you, rather than just your planner or coordinator.
Fun facts: My nickname is Norm, I cheered in College, & I make wine cork décor with my Etsy site Norms Nook (www.normsnookbyheather.etsy.com).
Besides weddings, I love to be creative, craft, and help others, so the idea of the Mama’s Helper services were created to do just this! I know how working full-time can be so hard to balance from when I was working in healthcare. By the time I got home, all I wanted to do was relax and be “in the moment” with my family, rather than dealing with other factors of life, such as gifts for the special people in my life. That is why I created Mama Helper, so that you can now come home and not worry about those items.

Ileana joined the Moments and Milestones team in the spring of 2022 as a newlywed after she used Moments and Milestones for her big day in the fall of 2021. We both loved to work together and she was a very organized bride, so she knew (and I did too) that she would be a great fit to help other couples. Ileana is also well organized and always ready to help! In addition to wedding coordinating, Ileana works full time at Baylor and currently lives in Waco with her husband Paul, newborn son, and dog Luna. In her free time, Ileana enjoys crafting, running and traveling.
Ceci
Ceci is a native Texas girl who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. She currently resides in Austin with her husband, Partha, and pets, Casper and Cheerio. Ceci was married in August 2023 and used Moments and Milestones for her wedding day! When she’s not helping coordinate weddings, Ceci enjoys finding the newest vegan brunch spots, cooking and traveling!
